Who We Are.
RAHA foundation was founded in memory of our Grand mother Selina Mphatisha and our mother Mable Kalindawalo Mwanza. Selina and Mable instilled in us values of kindness and being a brother’s keeper. Growing up seeing how they did their best to positively impact those around them and the community inspired the birth of Rise Against Hunger African Foundation.
Rise Against Hunger African Foundation is a non-profit organization founded to take a unique approach to battle poverty, hunger, illiteracy, and disease throughout Africa. Our vision is to empower Africa and eradicate hunger and poverty. Through education, agricultural empowering projects and improving access to health services, we believe this is what African impoverished communities need the most.
Our Mission
Our mission is to emphasize the importance of self sustainable communities, empower African community, and eradicate poverty/hunger. We believe it is important to provide easy access to health facilities, schools and to empower impoverished communities to produce food inorder to end the hunger crisis in Africa. Our goal is to improve the quality of lives of the African communities and make a meaningful impact across borders.
